Thanksgiving is a time for all of us to take a moment to appreciate what we have to be thankful for. According to this Wall Street Journal article, the key is “not to leave it on the Thanksgiving table” according to Robert Emmonds, a professor of psychology. He notes further “with the realization that one has benefited comes the awareness of the need to reciprocate.” Those that do so live longer happier lives and even make more money. So lets cherish the good feelings from turkey day and continue with a sense of gratitude long after the last leftovers are served.
