Foreclosure Limbo Staying Without Paying

According to this  CNN Money article, nationwide  it takes an average of 565 days to foreclose on borrowers in default from the time of their first missed payment until the time of the auction of their home at a foreclosure sale. In New York, the average is800 days. For those who want to then fight their eviction from the home, they can extend this time even further while their case is being decided in Court. One couple in Florida has remained in their home for 5 years without paying.Read article
